We had a great day out on Thursday!
First stop we had an explore around Spitalfields City Farm, we looked at some art we made for the site in the past, checked out the vegetable garden & fell in love with the animals… particularly Hugo the goat in the phone box & Holmes the pig! We also ate some under ripe plums in the tree house
We then took a stroll around our area to take see what the local artists had done with the walls… The colours & variety of art was very exciting
We came back to the workshop to have lunch together then finished our day at the Whitechapel Gallery to see the free exhibitions . Lee was inspired by the collages in the Phantoms of Surrealism exhibition & Ade & Tony especially liked Nalini Malani: Can You Hear Me? exhibition, the projections inspired some kind of contemporary dancing!
